MitoMark Green I - Introduction

MitoTracker Green FM (Green Mitochondrial Fluorescent Probe) is a green fluorescent probe used to visualize mitochondria in living cells under a microscope. The following is a description of the nature, use, preparation and safety information of MitoTracker Green FM:

Nature:
- MitoTracker Green FM is a hydrophobic fluorescent probe that can penetrate cell membranes and be specifically aggregated by the endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria.
-In mitochondria, MitoTracker Green FM will be reduced by reactive oxygen donors and emit strong green fluorescence.
- MitoTracker Green FM fluorescence signal is related to mitochondrial membrane potential, it can be used to evaluate changes in mitochondrial membrane potential.

Use:
- MitoTracker Green FM can be used to quantitatively observe and analyze the changes of mitochondrial morphology, location, quantity and mitochondrial membrane potential in cells.
-It can be applied to many research fields, such as cell apoptosis, cell proliferation, mitochondrial function and metabolism, cell aging, etc.

Preparation Method:
- MitoTracker Green FM is usually prepared by a fluorescent dye method, which involves mixing MitoTracker Green FM with an organic solvent to observe mitochondrial fluorescence under a microscope.
